As close to my grandfather's

My grandfather used to grow his own to make it. It was so hot and so good. Us kids used to see who could eat the most. This brand is as close as I've ever gotten to Grandpop's! Thank you!

I found this horseradish at my local Giant Food tucked away in front of the seafood counter. Seemed to be wrapped in a rather nondescript label, but that isn't a bad thing. I got this little jar home and gave a taste test right from the top and POW...instantly cleared sinuses. The best I've ever bought! Tell me, are the farms you source raw product from anywhere near a nuclear power station? Nice job regardless. I just wish the jars were larger. The cocktail sauce was also good, but I'll stick with my own secret mix for that.

For too many years I've been limited by the lame horseradish available at the supermarket. Nothing like the freshness and bite of the stuff that my grandmother used to make decades ago. That is, until I finally discovered Kelchner's. This is serious stuff and adds the perfect kick to a medium rare filet mignon or raw oysters. Bravo!

I recently tried your horseradish after using Gold's and am impressed with the kick and how smooth it is. I've memorized where it is shelved in my Wegmans.
