Creamy Horseradish Slaw (Easy 6‑Ingredient Recipe)

Ingredients

  • 1 (14–16 oz) bag coleslaw mix
  • ½ to ¾ cup mayonnaise or plain Greek yogurt
  • 1–2 tablespoons Kelchner’s Horseradish, to taste
  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice or apple cider vinegar
  • ½ teaspoon kosher salt
  • ¼ teaspoon freshly ground black pepper
  • Optional: 1–2 teaspoons sugar or honey, to balance the flavor

Directions

  • In a large bowl, whisk together the mayonnaise or Greek yogurt, Kelchner’s Horseradish, lemon juice or apple cider vinegar, salt, and black pepper until smooth and creamy.
  • Taste the dressing and adjust as needed. If you prefer a hint of sweetness to balance the tang and horseradish heat, stir in a small amount of sugar or honey.
  • Add the coleslaw mix to the bowl and toss until the cabbage and carrots are evenly coated with the dressing.
  • Cover and refrigerate for 10–15 minutes to allow the flavors to come together.
  • Give the slaw a final toss, taste, and adjust seasoning if needed. Serve chilled.
