Hummus with Horseradish
Ingredients
- 2 cups (or one 14-ounce can) chickpeas
- ¼ cup olive oil
- 1–2 cloves garlic
- 2 tablespoons lemon juice
- 2 tablespoons tahini
- Pinch of cayenne (optional)
- Sea salt, to taste
- Water, as needed for desired consistency
- Kelchner's Horseradish (to taste)
Directions
1. Add all ingredients except Kelchner's Horseradish to a blender or food processor and blend until smooth.2. Add water as needed until you reach your desired thickness.
3. Transfer the hummus to a bowl and mix in Kelchner's Horseradish, tasting as you go until the flavor is balanced to your liking.
4. For an extra kick, add a pinch of cayenne.
5. Serve with pita chips, fresh vegetables, or as a spread on sandwiches.
