Breakfast Fried Rice

Ingredients

  • 3 slices of bacon, diced
  • 1 tbsp sesame oil
  • 2 cloves garlic
  • 2 cups rice, cooked
  • ¼ cup soy sauce
  • ¼ tsp salt
  • ¼ tsp black pepper
  • ¼ tsp red pepper flakes
  • 1 tbsp Oil
  • 2 eggs, divided
  • 1 tbsp sesame seeds
  • 2 green onions
  • Kelchner's Yum Yum Sauce

Directions

1. Fry bacon in a pan over medium heat. Once cooked to desired crispiness drain on paper towel lined plate.

2. Remove all but 1 tbsp bacon fat from pan. Add sesame oil, and garlic. Cook until garlic is fragrant.

3. Add one egg and scramble in the pan until cooked through.

4. Add rice, bacon, soy sauce, salt, pepper, and red pepper flakes.

5. Once rice is heated through transfer to a bowl.

6. Add oil to pan and cook one egg sunny side up or to desired doneness. Once egg is cooked place on top of fried rice.

7. Garnish with green onions, sesame seeds, and a drizzle of Kelchner’s Yum Yum Sauce.
