Shrimp Cocktail Salad


  • ¼ cup Kelchner's Cocktail Sauce
  • 3 tbsp extra virgin olive oil
  • ¼ cup lemon juice
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon pepper
  • 1 ½ lb large cleaned shrimp
  • 2 cloves garlic, smashed 
  • 1 onion, quartered 
  • 1 dried bay leaf 
  • 2 tsp. kosher salt 
  • ½ tsp. black pepper
  • 12 cups romaine lettuce
  • 4 cups chopped tomato


Whisk together Kelchners Cocktail Sauce, oil, lemon juice, salt, and pepper. Set aside.

Fill a medium sized pot with water and bring to a simmer. Add garlic, onion, bay leaf, salt and pepper. Bring to a boil and add shrimp. Cook shrimp until opaque (approx. 2-3 minutes). Remove Shrimp from water and toss in the prepared dressing. Let sit in the fridge for approx. 1 hour.

Add lettuce and tomato to the shrimp and dressing mixture. Toss until combined.

Serve & enjoy!
