Kelchner's Won Gold at 2010 World-Wide Mustard Competition!

Kelchner's Hot Mustard
Won gold in the horseradish category at the 14th annual Napa Valley World-Wide Mustard Competition.  350 mustards from 10 countries were judged by a panel of food critics and chefs to determine the best mustards in19 categories.  This is the first year Kelchner's has submitted hot mustard into the competition only to bring home a gold medal.

2011 Tour De Shore - Benefit Philadelphia Police Charities

Philadelphia, PA
On Sunday, July 31st, some of Kelchner's employees will join 1,000 other bicyclists for the 24th Annual Irish Pub Tour de Shore, which is a 65-mile bike tour of scenic South Jersey beginning at the Irish Pub on 20th and Walnut in Philadelphia, to the Irish Pub in Atlantic City.

During the Tour de Shore’s 20+ year history, the Irish Pub Tour de Shore has raised awareness for various local Children’s charities. Throughout its tenure, it has raised over $1,500,000 for various beneficiaries. Each year, various local children’s charities, who keep their operating costs to a minimum, are chosen as the benefactor. This year, the 24th Annual Tour de Shore is proud to announce the Benefactors are the following Philadelphia Police Charities:The Daniel Faulkner Educational Grant Fund; FOP Survivor’s Fund; Police Athletic League of Philadelphia (PAL).

Crossroads/Katrina Relief – Hurricane Katrina Construction

In March 2010 a couple Kelchner’s employees took their annual trip down to New Orleans to assist the Crossroads organization in house construction for victims of Hurricane Katrina.

Great Strides Walk for a Cure - Cystic Fibrosis Foundation

Some Kelchner's employees raised money and walked on May 2, 2010 to support the search for the cure for Cystic Fibrosis in the 6th Annual Great Strides Walk for a Cure.

Help Build Hope – Home construction for families in need

Ivyland, PA
On May 22,2010 some Kelchner's employees participated in a Help Build Hope house build in the Bux-Mont Christian Church parking lot. Volunteers from the community framed out floors of two houses for families in need which were donated to Habitat for Humanity.
